The sad part is, the beginning isn’t really satire. The story IS that bad and contrived … seriously, it had taken one more Gloom attack to kill both Link and Zelda (who cannot even swat away some keese, and stands there like a muppet instead of, you know, using her sealing power), then yeet the castle, and destroy Hyrule. Hylia’s bloodline is destroyed, Demise has finally won.
Oh, speaking of Demise – remember that he, or remnants of his spirit, was absorbed into the Master Sword at the end of Skyward Sword, living in Fi’s basement? One would think the sword being shattered and basically weakened should have repercussions in that regard … but then, cause and effect are not a concept those writers seem to understand.

Frankly speaking, you’re beyond amazing! I laughed pretty hard, as this animation represent how I handled the game at first, to end with little care of Kurugu’s fate (take the nut and so long, my friend) and an intense interest for sidequests instead of the main story.
