All admit Steve should be block, portal should be blue, sheep design is not that good and the crafting scene is weird but overall this TEASER is not that bad. Remember the sonic Teaser. That one was ten times worse than that.
Give them time, they have untill April 2025 so calm down. Put your pickaxes down and chill out. Let them cook. Remember its a teaser not a full blown trailer. And so what if it’s not animated. Who cares if it’s real life or not. What matters is the story think about it now the human has travelled to the video game world aka Minecraft world. So that’s why they are not block. All admit Steve should definitely be block but the human shouldn’t because they’ve stepped into a Minecraft world.

I’m going to say it one more time. Calm down. Stop being overly critical and relax and be patient. Look at sonic for example. If sonic can be improved so can Minecraft so chill out.

I just realised. Why didn’t they make it so that when they step into the Minecraft world from the real world, they turn into Minecraft character skins.

this trailer is getting a lot of hate but I want to understand why the people who made this trailer as it is,
first thing the story, maybe the world of minecraft had a glitch that turned everything as we see on the trailer, steve turned into black jack in blue shirt, blue portal, horrendous looking passive mobs, piglins walking in the overworld, items and blocks being incoherent, etc. and the four people were there to fix it, and the tesseract looking item is the key to bring it back from what it was and the piglins were there to stop them because they could finally invade the overworld without them being zombified.
second, maybe the people involved in the making of this trailer doesn’t really know the game and just did whatever they can to make the producers happy and everything on time.
third and lastly, maybe they just wanted us to hate it and criticize it to produce drama and get a lot of attention that way, or get info on what to do to make the movie even better than the teaser, and hopefully that is what they are doing
warner bros don’t f this up, I get it you don’t want it to look like any other animated minecraft videos out there already, but they keep making it because it works, and that’s how it should work, minecraft is a block game, it’s simple, you could do many things with it but not a bad movie

Why are you in charge of making this movie? You only ever make live actions, which is not the way to go for a minecraft movie. It would look so much better animated. Why isn’t DreamWorks in charge of making the Minecraft movie? They would do a much better job than you clearly can. It’s been 10 years, and this is what you came up with. That is just insulting. It even looks like a badly modded mersion of minecraft. Did you just look up highly realistic minecraft and slap it onto a green screen, then add in humans? The weapons don’t even looks like weapons and the size proportions for blocks and items are all wrong. Where are all of the temples, mineshafts and more that were built and left behind by the ancient builders? I didn’t see half of the mobs we actually have and they look so bad. Why did you give them realistic fur? This is nothing like what minecraft is today. The character skins everyone has is unique and not one is the same as another because we can design what we want our skins to look like. We have mods to make more minecraft biomes, mods that make the deep dark, nether and end so much better. We have mods that add in mobs that don’t exist. We have the create mod that allows us to bulild cool contraptions and machines like never before only in minecraft, and we have mods to cook food with ingredients from all 3 accessible realms. We even have mods that allow us to use magic. There are mods to add in new ores and blocks never seen before. We also have mods that allow us more access to things we can build and decorate our houses with. There are even people whose entire channel focuses on building things like houses and more. We have Minecraft Roleplays, MCTV’s, Smp’s, and hardcore servers like hermitcraft, which is one of the longest running hardcore series to ever exist with 10 season’s.
