So I got a little weepy at hearing this… it is so nice to see a game that acknowledges the place of the Non-Com players and Albion seems to not just acknowledge them but exalt them.

The only thing that looks like it may be an issue in this game is if they make it far easier to just get beefed up in PvP then they make it to actually become a crafting class. If they can make the crafting classes as fun and rewarding as PvP is and encourage a 50/50 mix of PvP and macro I think this game will make big waves.

If it just devolves into everyone becoming raiding parties, this game will suck.

Good game, sad that virtually every guild requires voice chat, which I avoid like the plague.

And since I hear you get penalized for not being in one a bit later in the game, I guess I’ll pass this one…

Bought the game and played it for 2 days straight…but meh…I dont know if its just me but it gets boring really fast..killing all those mobs just to see a bar filling up..the pvp’s also not interesting..the bigger zerg wins. im really hyped for this game. most MMOs have you be “The great hero of the realm” or whatever, but I just want to do something simple like mining, smithing or peddling. it’s not exciting, but interesting, which is what ive been looking for. fun fact: in another MMO i used to play called Wakfu, I used to spend upwards of 2 hours just mining salt ore and selling them on the market XD
i think one of the reasons i quit was because i was basically by myself, my salt business didnt make any waves at all.

It’s interesting to think that the warfare will probably be even more complex than what they showed here. The Eternals and Shadow Stalkers could be in a very large conflict, and the Eternals could have the upper hand with the mountains and therefore a large source of ore under their control, but the Shadow Stalkers could even take a few of The Eternals’ territories, and The Eternals would have to wrestle it back off them. Perhaps another guild could use that war as an advantage, and attack The Eternals’ territory. Meanwhile merchants could be gathering their weapons and resources to sell to both sides. Some might even draw more focus to the Shadow Stalkers, providing them with resources they lack, in order for the merchants to prolong the war to make a larger profit. It could be interesting if the third guild actually sent them to do that as a strategic move. This third guild could even make a deal with the Shadow Stalkers, and create a temporary alliance, until The Eternals have been defeated. If The Eternals get crushed between two guilds, these two would now have major control over the areas The Eternals and Shadow Stalkers were fighting over. Or perhaps The Eternals defeated the Shadow Stalkers, but this third guild pushed them west, and off the mountains. This war could have changed the territory of everyone. And, the eternals might be too lacking in funds and resources after such a long war to fight this third guild. Maybe more merchants would come in to sell them things, or maybe this war could finally be over. Or, if it was just the Shadow Stalkers and this third guild left, perhaps the third guild might then use the Shadow Stalkers’ temporary weakness to eradicate them completely. A guild that might have had a smaller territory than the Eternals and the Shadow Stalkers has now taken both of their entire territories, but perhaps it’s too large of an for them area to control, and others start taking it back. This third guild could also have its old territory hit by another guild, and the cycle continues, perhaps with the third guild cutting their losses and locking down the mountains. Assuming all of that is possible, this game has amazing potential.

To me the biggest importance in Making a trailer is using real gameplay and not this cinematic bull**** when watching this trailer it uses real gameplay 90% of the time with the actual UI!! To me this means that the developers are confident in there product to show clips of the REAL game. If they weren’t they could easily make a short animation skit of WAR and ACTION! But what these developers did well was showing that it’s not about getting most kills, but that everyone contributes to the battle. Good job Albion!! (I’m a big fan of Albion by the way)

Will we be able to join forces with the enemies? I mean like a way to join the Heretics or Disciples of Morgana,, or simply working for them. This would be a game-changing experience. It’d heavily support the “criminal” system, create more PvP game modes or options, greatly improve roleplaying, and many more like new biomes, social areas, maybe even races in the long run. This could be in different DLCs!

Cannot find myself to play this game, or, any other future game by Sandbox Interactive ever again. Not a bad looking game, but, to go to bed and wake up with a banned account you invested alot of your money into, doesn’t give you any reason to want to deal with these people again. And sadly, this has happened to alot of people I’ve seen. Some people being banned for being falsely accused of hacking or something, and banned for life. They carry no proof of any hacking from these people but they want to steal your hard earned money. Like I said, i have see this problem on multiple occasions, on their Facebook, forums, and on YouTube videos of being falsely banned. Do yourself a favor, and stay away from these crooks.

It all sounds good in Theory…we will have to see how it all plays out in practice.

I think it will not play well because I see, too much emphasis on economy too much emphasis on rarity, too many levels of gear which have impact on success. I wish I am wrong but playing since Ultima Online 97, and seen it and done it all before.

One thing I am happy for is that finally it is almost ready to release, and can give it a try.
