Equart even though it was a disconnect I think you should still count it as a death, its important to have that “0” deaths on your character stats. You said it yourself a death is a death, with that being said start a new hardcore run on a fresh character! The grind to make silver an upgrade your gear is always the best part and was a delight to watch you rise from the slums!

In my opinion, since this was mog guild and idea, there is no compensation on death. But to be fair i recommend to create new character but transfer all silver to the new character (or anything you can tranfer)

So conclusion: You should play on this character even with death from dc, you could even try to talk with albion support, to remove this death from your character, don’t know if that’s possible but why you shouldn’t try? That’s controversial though, because if your playing ironman mode on runescape and you are in the wild and or wherever and you disconnect in middle of fight will you be able to ask them to reset the character to where it was before you died. Probably not, idk I never played ironman mode myself so idk
