if im not mistaken this is the problem r6 had at some point. some of these games nerfs the wrong things instead of improving other things that need improving. its mind blowing how disconnect some of these devs are to their own game.

SBI just admits they hate solo players at this point, they want to force you into guild gameplay and I honestly cannot wrap my head around it. ZvsZ it’s the worst form of gameplay you’ll get by far, pve succ since day 1 and it’s never gonna get fixed, but hey, you have corrupted dungeons with high risk low reward ratio and mists with almost no content/rewards unless you find an abbey so… whatever I guess, it’s their game, their community, their way. I already believe they have glorified the WoW guild gameplay from the past, they do not understand these days are over and will never come back, they are delusional beyond salvation and I truly think this game will tank a big hit on gameplay at some point due to the lack of dedicated players that enjoy its experience, truly sad to see.

As a new player my experience has been no one wants to 1v1 or a remotely fair fight, it’s all ppl invising and jumping when you fighting mobs or they all got 10m loadouts ganking me 5v1 for my 500k loadout

you are true when you on 1vX -ing, but you are wrong on ooh i can’t play 1vx, people actually got used to fighting vs bloodmon(hellion spammer) you aren’t supposed to be fighting 1v7 in roads because it’s based around 7man teams, cloudheim is basically genshin impact tho.

The thing about 7 man party on ava is they are mostly on full pve set and as a solo player myself id rather fight 7man party on pve set rather than fight duo or trio on PvP set

Yep game sucks …not solo friendly …thy keep nerfing everything to the ground…risk to reward is wild af …people in guilds only want to do zvz …I have more fun on runescape tbh and don’t even get me started on premium prices

I still watch your videos tho i stopped playing albion, it feels bad that they are nerfing it this way.
What killed it for me was splitting the playerbase in 3 ways and no transfers/merges on sight.

I do understand what you’re saying here, and you make some very valid points. But when you only play one very specific type of content in a game with tons of different content to offer, of course its going to get stale. You are forcing yourself to play this one type of content (1vX) because its what made you popular, and you a very very good at it. But not branching out and trying different content when there is so much there, kinda confuses me. Why not try to see if 1vX can work in mists, or openworld. Why not try Hellgates since you are a perma duo now. Why not dabble into some small scale, some zvz, why not try some ganking in red zone. It seems at bit narrow minded to say Albion is this that or the other when you only do one very specific thing.

The shapeshifters are the hardest to get and usually most expensive weapons in the game. They were the best thing SBI came up with these recent years and they just nerfed them to the ground. In the same time the same dumb boring weapons like spear and battleaxe have been in the meta for 10 years. What I don’t understand is why don’t they rework and improve the older weapons instead of constantly nerfing the newer, more expensive ones. Honestly the meta hasn’t really changed for years and each time there is an outlier it gets nerfed to the ground.

The shapeshifters could have introduced things like combos and more skills on other weapons, instead of that were getting nerfs and the same old stale meta again.

I love the game mate but I can’t be forced to play Spear Axe Deathgivers or Bracers forever.

They simply don’t fucking care of the “sandbox” anymore and decide what players should do, they kill all the solo content and want a zvz game at this point.

I don’t touch the game for months because they messed up the weapons and the content i like, if nothing change it’s just gona be a goodbye.

So, I don’t flat out disagree with you much, my good sir, but when you said that it was fair that Albion could nerf content that they didn’t like (essentially solo friendly content) and that was fair, I deeply disagree. Yes, it’s their game, they can do what they want. But we solo players can only take so much abuse, before we walk away. And I didn’t walk – I ran away. Because of the Dev team and their over focus on group content and getting people to play their game the way the 9:47 developers want – rather than focusing on making the game fun for all players. Developers with that mindset just don’t get my dollars anymore. I love your work, but as you’ve said, it really doesn’t exist anymore. So I’m out.

And in all fairness, Bloodmoon was too much. Arcane Staff though – that was effing brilliant work on your part. You played the way I always wished I could.

albion is dying tbh. i barely see anyone playing in mist . ive been playing for atleast 5 hrs a day but i can only see 2-3 enemy. its not the same eversince they release the safe portal.

the others day im looking to playing game like albion and i stumbled upon called WARBORN ASHED i get beta test try maybe you should check it but its more RTS like EVE online more than albion, and also also collab with Nomad pls 😆

It was in fact in the patch notes that they nerfed bloodmoon specifically so teams don’t struggle with focusing it down. I think around 10 minutes is optimal for a rant, but it’s pretty decent content.

I mean not being able to play 1v7 is a pretty normal thing lol. People getting better and overpowered items getting nerfed (because if its op enough to 1v7 its absolutely broken in 2-3v7 obviously) is a pretty healthy thing for a game too. Also, the loot in roads improved so the people going there are mosly better players

Focus fire protection is still a thing btw, its about 50% damage. reduction against 7 players

Get 1 or 2 teammates and then you can actually play against decent teams, you just have to be a bit more social, its an mmo after all, its really not that hard

The thing is, big part of the roads meta right now is either anti-heal or single target 1-shot. You kinda can’t play against that with a sustain build.

Rarely if any at all your content was even 1v7 unless they had like half their team down and still in mob aggro.. Most of the fights are against 3-4 clueless t4-t6 with no spec and are prob players doing stuff for the first time while you’re typically in T9 max spec. If you could find any fight vs one of the best small scale teams please link. Like I understand its youtube and you have to lie to make yourself look better than you are but like… be realistic.

The opinion piece is cool. I dont mind it, and its certianly something a little different. I just wish albion was what it used to be for me (everything was new and cool and difficult). Nothing is new now, everything is piss easy, and the grind for specs is so incredibly tiring. So I’ve quit and I wont be coming back until I have some friends who are willing to suffer through the bad parts with me.

SBI has sacrifice their game for the investissor, i got 5k hours on albion NA when they announce albion EU (im european), almost every ppl that i used to play with moved to the new eu server, and tbh i never felt so betrayed by a game.
My character has around 2.5b fame, im in the top 400 gatherer, i’ve been playing with the most prestigious guild, im so proud of my experience on NA, but now its gone forever, i dont want to xp a new character on a new, server, i’ve BOUGHT albion while the beta cuz “one game, one server”, “one character, every role”, but now, its over, now sbi see us like a dying cow which need to be milked to the ground before its done.
I used to litteraly LOVED albion, but today i rather sit on the floor and watch the sky for hours than playing albion i swear, and god knows how much time i spent roaming through the whole blackzone with no objectives in mind.
So yes albion has changed for the profit and the greed of the compagny, and this had broke my heart.

5 years playing this game, PVP is the only reason I still play. Mainly ZVZ, but I miss the days before hellion and battle axe got nerfed into the ground. My favorite memory in this game was 2v40+ with 8.3 battle axe hellion. Can’t do that anymore

Also yeah we really feel like SBI is a bit of screwing up everything. Since the last update the game is been raided with bugs and nerfs and rharh! I for one can’t play from my phone anymore, when I try open it, it says “operation timed out” thought It was maybe my device, changed it, nothing, deleted and tried reinstall nothing. Then went reading and realized I’m not the only one… Humpf😩… They really need to work on those things which really are issues if not it’s sad, but people will quit and new comers run away.

How 1 v x is a balanced thing? The complaint “i can’t kill a team by myself” seems rediculous. You’ve exploited op items and now whining that it’s not possible anymore.

There’s honestly better things to focus on besides being able to 1vX effectively. There’s entire weapon trees that are useless and hasn’t been touched in nearly a decade.

Hi tbanj, of course Albion is dying because of that alone. They’re killing ganking and all non-small and zerg PvP content.
Many would say yes, but it’s nothing to nerf or ban gankers, but that was the very essence of the game, at least from my point of view. Everyone is free to see it as they want.

1vX isn’t supposed to be a easy thing to do, stop crying

Hey @TBanj i’ve been playing this game since the close beta. You resume in this video the feeling I had before I quit, Albion is probably the best MMO hardcore in the world but the company who is in charge just destroy patch after patch the elitist content to let casual player dominate their game. I ask multiple time streamers about the current state of the game and you seems to be the only one who is not delusional about the fact that the version of Albion we used to love is no longer existing anymore. Love your vids, keep the good work and enjoy your passion as much as you can ❤

Well, we had blood moon which was op and we have weapon like broadsword which is trash. Just an example. What I mean is that Albion is not very balanced and the changes they make are very small and they happen rarely.

I was donating each month around 1500$ for last 2 years… i love playing mists with 8.4 gears! Last couple month i go to mists and i dont see any 8.4 there even 6.4 all gone and its becouse loot and fame in mists are trash!! Unplayable garbage! Mists was only content where people want buy high tire gear and enjoy the game!! Ill neeer go in BZ with 8.4 or avalonian or any other content.

So im trying say nobody gives a sheee about mists anymore I don’t donate becouse i cant enjoy garbage loot and garbage fame and 0 rare wisps and cool fights in mists anymore! I cancel my subscription and I leave the game!

Idk its worth it to play as a group in roads again, so its not just new players fame farming that you can pubstomp, yours, equart and koko’s content depends on killing obviously new groups of players whereas now you’ve got somewhat competent people going into roads again

From Albion’s standpoint, Where to from here? Why ruin duo content? Why give in to people been mad because they are bad at the game? Personally, I think it is a breath of fresh air to hear someone say something that we are all thinking but nobody is talking about.

not only for ava also mist is really unplayable unless u skip unbalanced things but then u cant get any fight… Game design really good but devs needs to work harder to make unbalanced and stupid stuff gone. Like if sword w deals more than my full combo then there is a big problem or if some guy can buy 4.2 and follow u forever to rat u and if u cant get rid of him till u go other mist whats the chance of getting same type of player does same stuff to you? or probably biggest one u can ban dash hack with video but u cant ban radar abusers because u cant give them %100 proof nobody can give it game needs to find that third party program or they should invest people who got report a lot. Look loggerheaded guy he is radaring i saw his rat kills its crazy obvious but still i cant proof that he is radar %100 is really tilting and making me thinking leave or joining to cheat community
