bro ganking will always be nerfed no matter what cuz the amount of people that get ganked conpletely outnumber the gankers and sbi only listens to majority vote. soon other weapons gonna get nerfed when it becomes the only remaining ganking weapon, and ofc all the noobs and econs gonna hate on this vid cuz they dont care, it just makes their life easier regardless of the actual players that want to have fun. the suggestion system is broken and theres nothing the minority can do.

After testing BP for a couple of days, here are some insights:

I agree that BP were too good at ganking and dismounting but poison pots were a big part of the problem and they’re getting nerfed.

Now regarding the new changes:
Although I appreciate the higher base damage, lower CD (It’s mostly a buff if you miss) and jump not being interruptible, the added 10% lifesteal for 4 seconds feels like it adds only little situational value. Personally, I would still prefer an intermediate version which retained some of its core gameplay and I believe all the nerfs to its mobility went too far, making the weapon feel very clunky.

SBI wanted to: 1) tone down catch potential and 2) improve brawling capacity

Having all of this in mind, here are some ideas that would address both points while keeping some of its (old) core gameplay intact:

Removed Damage over Time effect
Add 10% lifesteal (same as live) or temporary resistances, BOTH based on number of enemies hit, starting at 2
Base Cooldown: 30s → 25s (available more often but more punishing if you miss compared to live)
Cooldown Reduction on hit: 40% → 35% (about the same reduction compared to live)
Damage: 140 → 160 (intermediate buff)
Decreased hitbox size (same as live)
Jump can no longer be interrupted (same as live)
Jump Range: 10m → 9m (smaller nerf)
Jump Speed: 22 → 18 (same as live – this change is fair and gives players more chances to dodge)​​

My only question is will this also apply the the elite winter bears winter call ability? Cause if they go through that aswell, transporters might just be screwed if a gang of 4 8.3 bear paw users pull up on them. Cause as far as I know, they are immune to rooting aswell while in the jump animation.

As a Caerleon transporter, Im super ok with it and look forward to more nerfs LOL
